Mathias Beche Le Mans, a dream come true

Mathias Beche Le Mans, a dream come true
Mathias Beche is a good example of success Formula Le Mans (founded in 2009) in developing young endurance drivers set. The Swiss driver will participate for the first time the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 with Team Thiriet by TDS Racing in the LM P2 category.

The 24 year old driver, who passed through karting to cars, started very young in endurance racing via Formula Le Mans in 2009. Finishing second in the championship in his first season with Team Hope PoleVision Racing. Good results also when Martin Bartek entusted the Matech Ford GT to Beche at Spa in 2010 during a round of the Le Mans Series. He also did a test session for Rebellion Racing in the same year.

He served as reserve driver Rebellion Racing in the last 24 Hours of Le Mans, while he made his debut in at the 'deep end' of endurance with the Oreca Nissan of TDS Racing Le Mans Series. The Franco-Swiss driver can boast two victories at Spa and Estoril with teammates Jody Firth, who we saw with Embassy in 2009, in Formula Le Mans, and Pierre Thiriet who had a 'last minute' invitation to drive for Luxury Racing at Le Mans in 2011.

Although reserve driver for the 2011 24 Hours, Mathias Beche knows the course, since the TDS Racing team participated in the test day on 24th April with three drivers. The Oreca-Nissan team, became Thiriet by TDS Racing, and was selected this year for the 80th edition of the 24 hours, to the delight of the Franco-Swiss driver representing the colors of Switzerland;"It is incredible news. Le Mans is a race that was always my dream. This is the culmination of a project that began in 2008. Last year I had the opportunity to be the Rebellion Racing third driver at the 24 hours, now I'm going to be participating in this legendary race. For this first attempt, we will be at the heart of the most represented category of the grid and we will have a very competitive package of Nissan engine and Oreca chassis. I could not ask for more! The Thiriet by TDS Racing Team is a real family in whom I have great pleasure to working. "
