Defending American Le Mans Series champion, Jörg Bergmeister is on the entry list for the 9th time in a row. After two consecutive retirements, the German driver hopes to take the chequered flag next weekend.
“I am very happy to be here. Le Mans is different. First I really like the track, the atmosphere is great and the history is tangible. It is always a lot of fun. This year, it is hard to know what to expect because we were not at the test days. Ferrari has a new car, Corvette should be fast and BMW as well. I think that the drivers’ line-up is great; we know each other very well and we all know the track very well. At this point I really don’t know!”
