MRS starts with a strong driver‐quartet for the ADAC GT Masters
Finally the time has come, this weekend the MRS‐Team is starting his first race of the ADAC GT
Masters season in Oschersleben (Germany) with two McLaren MP4‐12c GT3. It will be the crucial test
for the new designed car. Four drivers will share the steering wheel.
After a sensational victory after the first race last year in August at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the
team has the incentive and ambition to be in the fore of the race series. As mentioned, the MRS
team will start with the McLaren MP4‐12c GT3. The car convince of endurance, power and speed to
push the team in the first row. “The car is amazing! It’s like a toy”, says team leader Karsten Molitor.
Behind the wheel of the brand new McLaren MP4‐12c GT3 with the starting number 13 the
businessman from Stuttgart Erwin Stückle will share the work with the Dutch record driver Patrick
Huisman. While Erwin Stückle is considered as a returnee after a long time out from motorsport,
Patrick Huisman is not only known by the insiders of motorsports. Huisman can look back at a long a
successful career, as a quadruple Porsche Supercup champion and former DTM driver.
The other car, the McLaren MP4‐12c GT3 with the starting number 14, is driven by the last Porsche
Sportscup champion Christian Ott and by the sport ace Alex Müller. Ott is well‐known by the MRS
team, he drove for the troupe from Lonsee at the German Renault Clio Trophy. Alex Müller
completes the driver’s line‐up for MRS. He is a highly professional in GT sports and participated
successfully in the FIA GT World championship.
Already from Tuesday the team from Lonsee near Ulm will be at the circuit in Oschersleben to
complete the last tests on Wednesday.
It will be exciting to see where the McLaren will stand after the balance of performance compared to
the other competitors and how the MRS driver fixtures will fight against the other participants. “But
we have still a lot work to do and we have to gain experience”, adds team manager Iris Dorr.
The races will be transmitted live by Kabel1 on Saturday and Sunday from 12:15.
