Ickx and Beche to debut in Zolder

The FIA has announced the official entry list for the second round of GT1 at Zolder, which features a brand new line up for the No. 9 Belgian Racing Ford GT - Belgium's Vanina Ickx and Mathias Beche of Switzerland.

Ickx had been a late addition to the Belgian Racing squad's line-up for Abu Dhabi, but was forced to sit out the weekend due to safety issues relating to the seating position she shared with Antoine Leclerc.

The team has confirmed Vanina will race at her home event of Zolder, alongside new team-mate Mathias Beche, who recently took pole position in the opening round of the Le Mans Series LMP2 class at Paul Ricard.

Every other team will field an unchanged line-up for Zolder, meaning once again five manufacturers, 10 teams and 18 cars will be represented.

Clivio Piccione and Stef Dusseldorf will be looking to maintain their advantage at the top of the 2011 Drivers' Standings, the duo taking victory in the main Championship Race which also propelled their Hexis AMR team into first in the Teams' Standings - 11 points clear of Nissan's JR Motorsports, who took three podiums from a possible four on the Yas Marina track.
